About Adam Esser

My name is Adam Esser, and I’m delighted to welcome you to my page here at SAD. By profession, I am a tax lawyer, but outside of work, I immerse myself in the world through the lens of my camera. I am deeply drawn to the serenity of beaches, the elegance of palm trees, and the timeless allure of Mediterranean landscapes—places that feel like home to me. Through my photography, I aspire to craft images that are rich with warmth, vibrant hues, and the unmistakable blue of the sea, evoking memories of long, languid nights by the water, a perfect contrast to the dark, half-year winters in Sweden.

My aim is to bring a sense of joy and positivity to my work, transporting viewers to sun-drenched shores and distant horizons. I’m particularly inspired by a nostalgic, vintage aesthetic—rooted in the 1970s yet subtly modernized—that allows each photograph to tell a story of its own. Many of my images capture the breathtaking beauty of Spain’s Costa Blanca and the enchanting landscapes of Mallorca, places that hold a special place in my heart.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of showcasing my work in various exhibitions in Stockholm and Gothenburg, the city of my birth. Here on SAD, I’m excited to unveil a collection of previously unreleased images, offering a fresh glimpse into my photographic journey.

All of my photographs are shot on film using a vintage Nikon FG from the 1970s, as well as my first-ever analog camera, the Olympus OM50. I hope these images resonate with you and inspire a sense of wanderlust and warmth.

Frames
Our are made of colored pine wood. The frame width is 12 mm and 20mm deep. The frame is delivered with a 1,5mm thick plexiglass. The back of the frame is held in place with twist clips, which makes installation quick and easy. Hanger for both portrait and landscape.

Passepartout
Passepartouts can be added to elevate any artworks. We thinks its a matter of taste and want to offer it. When adding a passepartout, the chosen size will be the size of the frame. Hence,
30x40 with passepartout: 20x30 print with a 30x40 frame. 
40x50 with passepartout: 30x40 print with a 40x50 frame.
50x70 with passepartout: 41x61 print with a 50x70 frame.
70x100 with passepartout: 60x90 print with a 70x100 frame.
